InstantEncore.com is the new digital classical music website designed to provide San Diego Symphony audiences with the resources to easily find and enjoy live classical music anywhere and anytime.  InstantEncore.com makes it simple to find concert information, download music, enjoy concert video and audio streaming, and access podcasts and pre-concert talks.  An InstantEncore homepage can be customized so that patrons can keep up to date on the latest available performances and downloads from the San Diego Symphony and other InstantEncore orchestras, venues, artists, ensembles, conductors and composers. Website visitors can also sign up for Inside Scoop: email alerts about new digital content from their favorite artists. There is no subscription fee to login and enjoy InstantEncore.  InstantEncore.com is your online destination designed to enhance the way you enjoy live and recorded classical music today and…into the future.

How Does InstantEncore Work?

Artists and ensembles alike, including the San Diego Symphony, make live (and in some cases, studio) recordings available to InstantEncore members in the form of MP3 file downloads, for a nominal fee per download. Entire concert pieces or individual movement tracks can be downloaded, with proportional pricing. Purchased tracks must be collected from the Instant Encore downloads page by 72 hours after the initial download.

San Diego Symphony patrons can enjoy an InstantEncore Bonus!: You can now own a free MP3 recording of last year’s outstanding SDS performance of Schumann’s Symphony No. 2, conducted by Jahja Ling!
